A scenic trail that takes you around the 2 northern arms of the Saguaro Lake.
Features and Interests:   Beautiful overlooks of the lake and region. Go in Feb-April for the wildflower season and cooler weather.

This is a short Saguaro Lake loop which is ideal for family walks. Relatively easy going trail with mild ascends and descends taking you around the little bays of the northern Saguaro lake (ideal for some fishing too). As it winds around the perimeter of the lake, it eventually goes inland to cross over to the other arm of the lake.

NOTE: since it's in the Tonto National Forest, does require a pass/fee ($6) that can be purchased at gas stations on the way or the Marina (but no always).

Elevation:  1550ft - 1650ft   (change 100ft)
Trail Difficutly:  Easy - stroll through the park
How Crowded:  Occassional passing

Accomodations: (on site)   Toilets  Water  Ranger StationFrom Phoenix/Fountain Hills area, take the Beeline Highway (87) North to the Bush Highway turn off on the right. Take Bush Highway south to the Butcher Jones Beach Rd, make a left and take it to the beach. Park anywhere in the loop parking lot, the trail is in the South East corner of the beach lot.Paved road or trail to the trailhead
