Great trail tucked away in the north part of the valley.

NOTE: Renamed to Dixie Mountain Loop.

Suprisingly scenic and medium length loop trail in the Fireside at Norterra community. Offering great views especially from the side trails leading up to the mountain tops.
Trail Distance:  3.8 miles round-trip
Elevation:  1600ft - 2060ft   (change 460ft)
Trail Difficutly:  Moderate - requires some endurance, elevation changes
How Crowded:  Occassional passing
Season:  September to May
Accomodations: (on site) Take I-17 north to the Jomax exit. Getting off, make a right and then a north (left) on Norterra Drive. Norterra Drive will come to a stop intersection with North Valley Parkway. Make a right and then left on W Copperhead Trail. Make a quick left to Melvern Trail and shortly a right onto Desert Vista Trail. Follow this short road to the trailhead parking.Paved road or trail to the trailhead
