FallA strange pale yellow-orange blob that looks like a cross between the blob and a creamsicle. It develops into a swirl of orange, red, brown, tan and cream shapes.
Occurrence on wood substrate: Saprobic; solitary or grouped or in rosette-like clusters most often on dead conifer wood; June through November, overwinters. Dimensions: Caps 2.5-10 cm wide. |
