This 5.5 mile loop around the lake is quite flat, but perfect to enjoy the peacefulness and quiet of this lake! With the wind blowing through the pines and the water lapping against the shore, this hike is very relaxing.

Accomodations: (on site)   Toilets  Ranger Station  CampingFrom Payson, head east on Arizona 260 until you ascend the Rim. Near milepost 282, turn left at FR 300 toward Woods Canyon Lake. After about 3.2 miles, make a right to the Woods Canyon Lake recreational area road FR 105. Paved road or trail to the trailhead
